A Therapy Dog at Work and Play:
Teaching Children about Body Clues
A book teaching
children about the impact of loss and change on the lives. Bear's
story has inspired over a thousand children in the last few years all
across the state of Connecticut.
"Ms. Nicoll demonstrates her wonderful creativity in working with
children's issued by using animals. In her most recent work, she
personifies a dog, whose name is Bear, in a way that helps children to
begin to identify body cues that are associated with their feelings.
The moral lessons are further adapted to important social concerns such
as making good choices."
